Job Description :
The Consultant will be joining the Research & Consulting Team in Shanghai, reporting to project manager or department manager. The Consultant will be involved as both a Project Manager for smaller projects, and as a Team Member for larger projects. Typical projects include the development of market entry/expansion strategies, market research, and demand/supply trend etc. Currently we focus on commodity markets such as steel, oil & gas, paper etc.. The following will be the main responsibilities:

• Problem framing, work plan design.
• Team leadership, client communication.
• Data collection and analysis. Including field research, face-to-face interviews.

• Report writing, presentation of results.

Qualifications:

• Over 5 years as project manager in an industry analysis firm, strategic/management consulting firm or financial advisories.
• Familiar with consulting and/or market research values, philosophy and techniques.
• Must possess high level of inter-person abilities. The ability of communication and understanding is of vital importance for this role, the candidate are supposed to communicate with high levels of management in client's company and must be able to do it professionally and effectively.
• Insights into commodity markets (oil & gas, steel, petrochemical, paper, etc) are desired but not essential.
• A Master's degree is preferred. Overseas or financial background as an advantage.
• Must be fluent in BOTH Chinese and English. Professional writing and presentation skills are essential.

Job Description :

• Written translation including market report, research report, conference materials covering chemical, oil & gas, metal, paper & pulp industries and markets.
• Conference interpretation including cross interpretation and simultaneous interpretation.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years full-time working experiences in translation and interpretation.
• TEM 8 certificate.
