CBI news, 24 March: Reuters Finance, the cooperation result between Reuters.com.cn and CBI, made its debut on CBI official website, www.cbichina.com on 20 March 2008. Visitors, from the day on, can get the access of real-time Reuters news simply by clicking the Reuters Finance button on the left navigating menu of CBI homepage.

Reuters Finance, the cooperative subject, covers almost all well-known columns of Reuters.com.cn such as Asia, China, Europe, Stocks, Fund, Foreign Exchange, Industries, Column, Commodity Futures and Macro Economy. Sources said cooperation between the two parties will be one year for the first time. Reuters.com.cn promises it will provide free news information to CBI subscribers during the cooperation term and the news on the cooperative website will be updated synchronously with Reuters.com.cn.

Sources with CBI said the introduction of Reuters Finance is to compensate its deficiency in finance news. This move will enable CBI website to provide more accurate one-stop intelligence services to customers not only on industrial information but also on comprehensive financial news. It is absolutely a creation in Chinese commodity consultant websites.

Sources also unveiled that further negotiations between the two companies are under progress.
