Shandong Befar Group’s new facilities is to be on stream
Shandong Befar Group Co. Ltd has already finished relevant constructions of its expansions. According to company source, the new 120,000 tonne/year chlor-alkali facility has been on stream, together with a 60,000 tonne/year propylene oxide ( PO ) line.
Another 60,000 tonne/year chlor-alkali facility and 20,000 tonne/year trichloroethylene will start trail production in early August, he added.
At the end of August, a 120,000 tonne carbide based PVC is planned to start production together with another new 60,000 tonne/year chlor-alkali facility.
Thus, the company will boast a 420,000 tonne/year membrane caustic soda, together with a 120,000 tonne/year PVC capacity. Its former 110,000 tonne/year PO will expand to a 170,000 tonne/year one.
